No, really - can you feel it?! You may not know what it is, but you are beginning to be drawn to it! You’ve felt that there was something missing and you couldn’t quite put your finger on it. You’ve attempted to fill the void with so many things and by now have come to realize that nothing else compares or can take its place. There is a growing urgency around us to prioritize our time with God, and He is drawing us closer through His spirit. He is calling His people to seek him like never before and to cultivate a deeper intimacy with their Creator.
God longs to hold us close to Him, to comfort us, to teach us and to reveal His ways to us. Ps. 25:14 states,” There’s a private place reserved for the devoted lovers of YAHWEY where they sit near him and receive the revelation-secrets of his promises,” TPT.
And that’s the absolute best part: God desires for us to know Him even more than we desire to know Him.
But how can we truly know God? How can we connect with the Creator of the universe? Given that His thoughts and His ways are far beyond our understanding, how could we even possibly relate to him? Well, the answer is quite simple: girl, open your Bible! When we do, we will learn not only His character but His will for our lives. This devotional was written to help you on your journey of drawing closer to the Father. In His word, He promises us that if we seek Him with all our hearts, we will indeed find Him.
